Authorship Complaints and AI-Assisted Technologies Policy

Language and Diaspora Transmission (LDT)

Policy Statement

Language and Diaspora Transmission (LDT) permits the use of Generative AI (GenAI) provided it is transparently disclosed. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and ethical integrity of their manuscripts. GenAI tools cannot be listed as authors under any circumstances.

Permitted Use

Limited use is allowed under strict human supervision for:

  • Language editing, grammar checking, and translation.
  • Data visualisation (without generating or manipulating actual research findings).

Prohibited Use

  • Generating scientific content, core arguments, or literature reviews without explicit disclosure.
  • Including fabricated AI-generated references, citations, or data.
  • Using GenAI in the peer-review process or editorial decision-making.

Disclosure Requirements

Authors must include a "Generative AI Usage Statement" immediately before the references section if GenAI was utilised in the preparation of the manuscript. Basic tools such as standard spelling and grammar checkers do not require formal declaration.

Required Template:

"During the preparation of this work, the author(s) utilised [NAME OF TOOL] for [REASON]. The author(s) reviewed the content and assume full responsibility for the final version."

Enforcement and Note

Note: The journal reserves the right to immediately reject or retract manuscripts found to have undisclosed GenAI use. All policies regarding AI-assisted technologies are strictly enforced in accordance with international publication standards and Scopus recommendations.
